I went for lunch @ BrewMeister, Jayanagar in 4th block which is right above the VB Jewellers & easy to find. The road is quite busy & valet parking surely come handy here. I heard alot about their terrace seating at 5th floor but the 4th & 5th floor were undergoing maintenance in some or all parts of it as on 19th May 2018. So better stick to 3rd Floor indoor or outdoor sitting during your visit. Once 5th-floor terrace seating is ready, it would be a charm to sit there.
We got our hands on the tasting shots of the freshly brewed beers listed below. Although all of them were good, I found Pale & Witbier all-time good whereas Pilsner & Stout are something when you wanted to try something new & ready for an experimental ride. > Pale – Citrus, melon and stone fruit characteristics. > Pilsner – European style pilsner with the soft sweet malt profile. > Witbier- a mix of spice and herbal notes. > Stout – coffee, vanilla, licorice and dark chocolate. My friends got their hands on Kiwi ice tea cocktail, Barman special, Basil and jalapeno martini & Virgin mojito cocktails. They were quite refreshing, appealing in the presentation & good-in-taste is what I got to hear from them.
The appetizers tried were Jalapenos cheese bombers (for spicey buds), Stuffed mushroom (to get spicy high), Bruschetta (usuals with cheese and vegetables). The best ones were Paneer Tikka (great in presentation, soft & creamy in taste), Baby corn stick & Hara bhara kabab. They were good not only in taste but also the way they were presented (see pics uploaded for reference, words won’t do justice). Though I am vegetarian, few of the dishes which I found appealing from the looks of it even though I cant eat them which were ordered on our table were (do see the pictures to relate to them): > Fish fingers (French fries could have been fried a little more to get that right flavor & taste) > Herb crusted fish > Grilled fish steak For the main course with Thai Curry, Brewmeister mini kofta curry with Vegetable tawa pulao & Roti’s just made my day. Kofta’s are lip smacking & I would highly recommend them. We tried their wood-fired Roasted-Bell-Pepper Pizza but it was surely something which can be avoided. Even though it was appealing but taste wasn’t just right due to high salt content & the toppings/cheese & the base not being baked right.
The deserts, on the other hand, were average in its appeal, taste & quantity can surely be increased for the latter 2. We tried Black forest gauteau slice, Mango mint chocolate chili mousse & Gulab jamun with rabri. Overall the staff was very friendly & courteous. The servings usually take upto 15 minutes as they are made to order so do plan accordingly when ordering.
