Chavadi is a gem of a place with a lot of adventure, hidden treasures & community work to do apart from just the delicious food offerings from their end. The open terrace with greenery of IIM Bangalore campus around it with cool breeze passing from all sides makes it a fabulous place to be in. Perfect for dating, candlelight dinners, cozy friends gathering & for someone just to have a good brunch & enjoy their weekend here.
I tried Hulk Lemonade & Frozen Mango mocktails which were great in taste & quite appealing too. I offset my plans for the cocktail & hard drinks due to other critical work planned for the day though I found their stack of cocktail options was quite good with wide variety.
I tried assorted veg platter, campfire potatoes, mushroom duplex & pepperonata pizza (veg one). My personal favorite was the clay oven wood-fired pizza which was freshly baked & served sizzling hot to spike up our taste buds. I feel the mushroom duplex were missing the mild hotness which made them taste very blend/mild & not all options in the platter were equally enjoyed especially the kabab’s which needs a complete revamp though the corn pakoda & cheese balls were quite nice.
The dark chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream was a charm & fully enjoyed by us along with coffee liquor tiramisu & homemade Matka ice cream with red wine which is clearly their signature dish.
In all, the place comes with a lot of excitement, fun, a lot to do around options & greenery to enjoy any moment of the day. Do come & try their services if you haven’t been here already. Cheers!
